www. newhallschool. co. UK New Hall is one of the oldest Catholic schools in England. It is located in the old Tudor palace of Beaulieu in Essex. The Community is in the spiritual roots of the Augustinian tradition and informed students 3-18 years.
New Hall School is a boarding and day school for girls and boys aged 3-18 years with residents 8-18 years. Approximately one third of the old school are boarders. Since the beginning of September 2006, New Hall opened its doors to boys and girls, both in form VI and 7 school year. Therefore, it was in September 2007 boys in years 7, 8, 12 & 13 extended until September 2008, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13, and so on. In September 2010, the school fully co-educational.

history of the school was founded in Lige in Belgium in 1642 by Susan Hawley, who is also the English community of regular canons of St. Sepulchre. Firstly, the school offers a Catholic education for girls, which was refused in England after the Protestant Reformation. In 1794, forced the wars of the French Revolution, the nuns to leave the Netherlands. The school reopened in its present location in 1799.
