GREAT

I used to purchase the pampers and then they put drymax in them which caused horrible diaper rash. These diapers are a little more money but worth no leaks! There is no odor or dyes in the diaper liner either which is nice! I try to save money by using the huggies snug and dry during the day and the little movers at night. My child sleeps through the whole night (10 plus hours) and is almost a year old and he has been waking up for 3 months in a row without being wet himself because these diapers are super absorbant.

Great quality

My baby likes these diapers and has hardly had any “explosions” that leak out in them. They feel soft and he’s never had any problems with diaper rash with them. I prefer these over the Pampers Swaddlers because he seems to leak out of those more often.

Best Diaper you can buy. With no fragrance. Pampers are slightly better at very small size.

We have a boy and a girl, and have tried all the “premium” brands …. by far our favorite diaper is the Huggies Supreme. They consistently have not leaked, they hold up well, and most importantly, they do not have any added perfumes or fragrance added. 

We have never had a case of diaper rash (like some of our friends) and I attribute that to frequent changing and the great absorbency and design of Huggies Supreme. 

Pampers have a slight “baby powder” smell to them and we refused to use them after every diaper smelled like baby powder. And no – we absolutely did not put anything on our baby’s backside besides the diaper. The last thing you need to add to your baby’s backside is a perfumed diaper. That little body has enough to do on its own already. 

Finally, there is one area where pampers work better: one of our kids was premature and weighed 4 lbs 3 oz., we found that the pampers worked better at this very small size. But after we passed the “P” size, it was clear that the Huggies Supreme was best.

Worth the extra money

When my wife and I had our first child, we started out using Pampers diapers, because that’s what we had used in the hospital. While those diapers were adequate, we didn’t really like the way that they forced our daughter to waddle with her knees turned out once she started learning to walk. I saw some Huggies Supremes advertising a more shaped fit in their toddler sizes, and decided to try a package. 

What a difference it made! Not only did she walk more easily, but the diapers also had a significantly higher capacity, meaning that a single diaper would usually last through the night without overflowing. In addition, the fit was better to the point that poop explosions became a thing of the past. It was really nice not having to change soiled clothing along with the diapers. 

Other parents we know report similar experiences. When our second child came along, there was no question – he started using Huggies Supremes right from the start. 

Modern diapers have come a long way from the old cloth diapers, so here are a few tips for using them. 

- The absorbent material in modern diapers is so effective that the diaper won’t feel wet, and won’t release any urine odor. The way to tell that the diaper needs to be changed is to squeeze slightly at the front of the crotch – on boys, a little higher, just above the private parts. If it feels like it did when the diaper was put on, it’s still dry. If it feels more full and squishy, like a gel, it’s wet. Poop you’ll still have to tell by smell and the child’s behavior. 

- When putting these diapers on, stretch the elastic across the baby’s back slightly, and make sure the front is also snug when velcroing the tabs shut. This will help minimize the chance of leaks at the waist or leg holes. 

- A couple tricks for diapering in general: when changing a diaper, I spread the clean diaper out under the child first, before removing the dirty diaper. After undoing the tabs, I grab both ankles in my left hand, lift a couple of inches, remove the dirty diaper, and clean the baby from the back forward before lowering the baby’s behind onto the clean diaper. For a boy, put a wipe over the front while doing the change to avoid fountains. 

This large box of 84 diapers contains two clear plastic bags with 42 diapers in each. The bags have perforations and act as fairly convenient dispensers after removal from the box. 

Huggies Supremes do cost a bit more than most other brands, but you will probably also use fewer diapers because of their larger capacity. Add to that the reduced chances of soiling baby’s clothes, and they are well worth it!

Use during the day and at night I use little movers

I used to use pampers but then they put the drymax that caused horrible diaper rash for my child. So we quit using them. Then I decided to try huggies snug and dry. They are decent for during the day time but not night time. My child is almost a year and I only put these on during the day because there is no overnight protection. He doesn’t seem to get diaper rash which is good and they are inexpensive during the day. (extra bonus) — At night time we use Huggies little movers and he has been walking up every morning dry for 3 months straight! I even purchased the huggies swimmers for the pool recently and they work great too!

HUGGIES Beats Pampers

From the time my baby was born until she was about 20 pounds, I used the Pampers Swaddlers New Baby. However, Pampers does not make those diapers in Size 3 or bigger sizes. So, I compared the next Pamper in the lineup with Huggies Snug and Dry, and Huggies were far superior at this stage. They are softer, do not leak, are not plasticy feeling like the comparable Pampers. 

I will forever stay with Pampers for new babies and Huggies after that.

At 25 cents a diaper you can’t get much cheaper than this. Not to mention its the largest bulk size that I’ve been able to find. My wife loves having the 150 diapers at hand and I love saving all the money, my son however doesn’t really care for them though since he just poops in them! 

These are nearly 50% cheaper per diaper than a small pack you would pick up at a drug store or something.

Love the convenience of subscribe & save for diapers

My son will be 3 in a few months and for about a year now we’ve used the size 4, Huggies box of 150 through Subscribe & Save. The box was just the right size to last a month, so we were usually down to the last 5-10 diapers when the next box arrived at our doorstep. So convenient! I was sorry to learn that this particular item is being discontinued (not sure if it’s the size or the availability through subscribe and save) but as it happens we’re far enough in the potty training that I needed to cancel it anyway. Definitely worth doing again if we had another one.

Only diapers we will buy

When I had my daughter I vowed that we would not be above using generic store-brand diapers for her to help cut back on costs. And for a while we did use store brands – several of them (Walmart, Target, CVS, Toys R’ Us), before discovering that none of them were quite as good as the name brands. A few of them were horrible at absorbing liquids, and a few of them just fit very awkwardly, like they were not cut to fit the contours of a baby’s body. 

Pampers and Luvs I dislike because they are scented and therefore not great for babies with sensitive skin – they constantly caused diaper rash. 

Which brought us to Huggies. Not only do I find the Huggies to have a far-superior fit (they are shaped to the curves of a baby’s legs) but they are also unscented and most importantly super absorbent. They may not be as cheap as the store brands but knowing my daughter is wearing a diaper that absorbs well and fits great is what matters to me. We’ve used Huggies since stage one (including the over-night ones) and have never had any problems with leaks or diaper rash – they are the only diapers I will buy.

We’ve been using the Pampers Baby Dry Diapers for Newborn, and we had no problems with it. We went ahead and got the next size up, which was size 1-2 (could not find size 1). It was probably really size 1, since my baby girl seemed to grow out of it at 11-12 lbs. After that I found Baby Dry Size 2. 
My mom commented that these diapers were not as soft as the first batch of Newborn diapers (which was likely Pampers Swaddlers Newborn, the old one, not Dry Max). Overall, I am quite pleased with Baby Dry. I must agree with the reviewer who warns *not* to buy in bulk unless the baby is in the low end of the weight range.

best diapers ever

I’ve tried all sorts of diapers from store brand to other national brands and these are the only diapers that do not leak and hold a lot. I think they are drier than the cruisers diapers and they are much cheaper than cruisers as well. I’ve used pampers for all three of my children and I’m getting ready to have twins and I will definitely be putting pampers on them as well. Amazon has the lowest prices on diapers (cheaper than diapers. com) and very fast shipping.

This was our first diaper purchase after using Pampers Swaddlers in Size N (old version), Size 1 (old version), and Size 1-2 (new version). 

Since our little guy is already over 16 lbs at 11+ weeks, we decided we would try to move him into the Size 3 range! We weren’t really sure what to expect. Our sister-in-law gave us some of her extra Size 2 and Size 3 Huggies, and we weren’t overly impressed — most of them worked….but they were a bit stiff and didn’t seem to absorb his stools as well as the Pampers. 

So when the ‘sample’ Huggies ran out, we decided to roll the dice with these Pampers. And so far, so good. No big blow outs after a week’s worth of diapers. 

Someone also gave us a small pack of Size 3 Luvs diapers as well as a gift a few days ago. After a few trial runs, we’d rank the Luvs and Pampers as excellent so far for our no-so-little-anymore ‘little’ man! No leaks to speak of with either. 

Most of our friends told us the best deal was to go with the Kirkland brand diapers at Costco. However, if you price things out per diaper, these Pampers actually end up being about a 1-cent per diaper cheaper AFTER YOU FACTOR IN THE SALES TAX YOU PAY AT COSTCO! [Thank you, Governator! ] So it’s just all-around *easier* to order these Pampers from Amazon! We love Huggies! When my kiddo was smaller Huggies seemed to leak on him and the fit wasn’t right but when he hit a size 4 diaper, I like Huggies now as much as, if not more than Pampers and Luvs. They all work for him but there is something about the fit of the Huggies I like more now!
