If it feels like it did when the diaper was put on, it’s still dry. If it feels more full and squishy, like a gel, it’s wet. Poop you’ll still have to tell by smell and the child’s behavior. 

- When putting these diapers on, stretch the elastic across the baby’s back slightly, and make sure the front is also snug when velcroing the tabs shut. This will help minimize the chance of leaks at the waist or leg holes. 

- A couple tricks for diapering in general: when changing a diaper, I spread the clean diaper out under the child first, before removing the dirty diaper. After undoing the tabs, I grab both ankles in my left hand, lift a couple of inches, remove the dirty diaper, and clean the baby from the back forward before lowering the baby’s behind onto the clean diaper. For a boy, put a wipe over the front while doing the change to avoid fountains.

After Pampers changed their pampers cruisers to dry max (which are horrible by the way)We’ve switched to pampers baby dry ones and they do a adequate job. No leaks at night, I am happy with them.

It’s fine, but size 1-2 seems more like size 1

We’ve been using the Pampers Baby Dry Diapers for Newborn, and we had no problems with it. We went ahead and got the next size up, which was size 1-2 (could not find size 1). It was probably really size 1, since my baby girl seemed to grow out of it at 11-12 lbs. After that I found Baby Dry Size 2. 
My mom commented that these diapers were not as soft as the first batch of Newborn diapers (which was likely Pampers Swaddlers Newborn, the old one, not Dry Max). Overall, I am quite pleased with Baby Dry. I must agree with the reviewer who warns *not* to buy in bulk unless the baby is in the low end of the weight range.

best diapers ever

I’ve tried all sorts of diapers from store brand to other national brands and these are the only diapers that do not leak and hold a lot. I think they are drier than the cruisers diapers and they are much cheaper than cruisers as well. I’ve used pampers for all three of my children and I’m getting ready to have twins and I will definitely be putting pampers on them as well. Amazon has the lowest prices on diapers (cheaper than diapers. com) and very fast shipping.

This was our first diaper purchase after using Pampers Swaddlers in Size N (old version), Size 1 (old version), and Size 1-2 (new version). 

Since our little guy is already over 16 lbs at 11+ weeks, we decided we would try to move him into the Size 3 range! We weren’t really sure what to expect. Our sister-in-law gave us some of her extra Size 2 and Size 3 Huggies, and we weren’t overly impressed — most of them worked….but they were a bit stiff and didn’t seem to absorb his stools as well as the Pampers. 

So when the ‘sample’ Huggies ran out, we decided to roll the dice with these Pampers. And so far, so good. No big blow outs after a week’s worth of diapers. 

Someone also gave us a small pack of Size 3 Luvs diapers as well as a gift a few days ago. After a few trial runs, we’d rank the Luvs and Pampers as excellent so far for our no-so-little-anymore ‘little’ man! No leaks to speak of with either. 

Most of our friends told us the best deal was to go with the Kirkland brand diapers at Costco. However, if you price things out per diaper, these Pampers actually end up being about a 1-cent per diaper cheaper AFTER YOU FACTOR IN THE SALES TAX YOU PAY AT COSTCO! I know there are tons of complaints against these diapers. But I must say to my children, were great diapers. We used pampers since my son was born. I was completely in love with Pee indicator used to put on swaddlers. I was angry when removed, and then found that the diapers are heavily scented. I felt as if they had just arrived from baby powder factory. When switching to a dry version of Max, I noticed the smell disappeared. I never had a loss of these children and my son is a super soaker. He never Diaper two. They are also thinner, so it fits more in the diaper bag, diapers, trolleys, drawer changing table, or what you are. My son will be a year now and we intend to use the first versions of these cruisers. They feel as soft as the original swaddlers to see how it can be troublesome for children with sensitive skin. My son has never had a problem with it.

I love these diapers. I especially love the wet indicator line. It helps so much to just be able to see if she’s wet with very little effort. I haven’t had any issues with them leaking either.

Our boy was born in May of this year – and we came home from the hospital with these diapers. At the beginning we wanted to try Huggies as well, just to compare the two products. From the get-go, the Huggies leaked, so we threw out the package immediately, and went back to using these Pampers. We have had no problems with these diapers, and keep ordering more. Would definitely recommend this product to others.

I have been using pampers swaddlers since Jan 2010 when my son was born so I have used both the original and now the dry max and have no complaints. I consider them high quality and I am very happy with their performance and I have tried several other name brand diapers that I was not happy with. Not once have they ever leaked or caused a rash and my son seems completely happy with them as well. For my family pampers has been the diaper for us!!

Better than I thought

I like these diapers despite my concerns based on some reviews. The wetness indicator works well, they are roomy for our 8 week baby (13 lbs), and they keep him dry comparing to other diapers that do not have a mesh inside.

No rash for us, but there are other issues

It was very unnecessary for Pampers to come out with Dry Max technology. The previous baby dry variety were perfect. We didnt get a rash but these diapers are still weird. They are thin, have a purple tint to them, and smell sweet. All of that is so unnatural to me. 

They do not hold pee well at all. They get very heavy and you really need to change more often as a result. They are also inferior night time diapers. My daughter would wake up and have leaked out every day for three days onto her sheet. I really hope these go away.

Swaddle Waddle Waddle

I received both the Pampers Cruisers Dry Max and the Pampers Swaddlers Dry Max Diapers from Vine. A good friend’s daughter was the perfect size for these (18 lbs) and she was thrilled to try them out. The Swaddlers fit perfectly, but the Cruisers were (as to be expected) a little big. After a few weeks of use, her reaction was lukewarm. Since the baby was starting to be a little more active, the Swaddlers were a little too constraining. She ended up only using them around bedtime. The Cruisers were, however, still a little big but she thinks once the baby grows into them, they will be great. 

I also think it’s adorable how the Swaddlers have pictures of baby Sesame Street characters, while the Cruisers show the characters a little more grown up. 

I would recommend the lower size Swaddlers, but once the baby starts to get more active, they may not be the best choice.

Still the Best!

After reading so many negative reviews, I decided that I have to write a positive one. I haven’t had any problems with the new Dry Max Pampers, and I have a number of friends who use them and haven’t had any problems. My daughter leaked all the time at night when I used the old Swaddlers, but she doesn’t leak with the Dry Max. Sure, they have a smell to them, but so do the old Swaddlers. It’s really not that bad! All diapers have some smell to them, and Pampers still smell better than a lot of other brands. As far as diaper rashes go, I have friends whose babies got diaper rashes from the old Swaddlers too. Some babies are just very sensitive to certain diapers. I don’t think the problem is as bad as some people are making it out to be. Pampers would recall the diapers if that many babies got severe diaper rashes from them. I do feel bad for the babies who were affected, though. Overall, I think the Swaddlers Dry Max are great. Pampers are still the best diapers to me!

This is the best layers I found next to the old Pampers cruisers. They are not as sweet as I wanted and have no influence, I want, but do not leak, even after 12 hours into the night with my heavy wet. Are cheaper than Pampers Cruisers news, and I think probably the best ever layer anyway.

Keeps my 9 mo. old dry

These diapers are excellent! They keep my baby dry even overnight and absorb and turn fluids into a gelatinous material that doesn’t spill. They have a tight seal at the thighs and enough elasticity to allow her to crawl without coming off. They’re soft and are very gentle on baby’s skin. My baby has never developed diaper rash since she’s been wearing these. I can’t recommend them enough.

pampers are worth the money

Very rare did he have any diaper rash since I started using these. the baby dry is on the thin side compare to cruiser, but still can do overnight job quite well. Highly recommended! Pampers makes the best diaper. It’s absorbant, breathable, easy on the sensitive skin of a baby. My son has used pampers exclusively based on the experience I had with my daughter where we tried different brands.

Tried the Rest, These are the Best

As a somewhat compulsive person who likes to try everything, I sampled almost every diaper. At this point, my 14-month old son is only pooping twice a day and peeing a lot at various times throughout the day. This is the best all around diaper since it can hold a little more in case you can’t change your baby as soon as they need. I tried the new Pampers Cruisers with the dry max which are better than the old Cruisers but not as good as Baby Dry. While baby dry says it can go 12 hours there is a point where I feel like they may explode and it’s still better to go with the Baby Dry Extra Protection for overnight. While I really like the feel of Huggies diapers, they seem to release little bits or balls of cotton or something that I find disturbing.

Best Diaper ever for my baby

I always bought Pampers baby dry for both of my babies…excellent in quality, and i believe my babies also feel great on this diaper. I tried huggies,luvs which seems very uncomfortable for them. PLz don’t think about few dollars difference, think about babies health, their soft skin.

Great diaper!

Much better than Pampers Cruisers! This diaper has held up against leaks very well. I switched to Baby Dry after reading great reviews and now agree. Using them at night in place of the nightime diapers and very pleased as well.

We have been using Cruisers since the day my daughter came home from the hospital and had never had any problems. As she has grown, the price per diaper of the Cruisers started rising so I decided to be a little frugal and try the Baby Dry. I was very pleasantly surprised. They are great; no leaks or accidents. After reading all the negative reviews, I must say that I was very skeptical about these diapers. However, after having used them, I can’t say that they are either very good or very bad. We’ve used a wide range of diapers for our two kids, and this one does the job adequately. A small issue I have with these are that they don’t seem to hold as much pee as the Cruisers, which is probably enough to cause me to look elsewhere. Especially considering that this new line is advertised as “Dry Max”. I’ll stick with my Huggies and Kirkland brands.
